About Me

Hi, I’m Eliza!

I'm a registered dietitian specializing in culinary medicine and food-focused nutrition education for healthcare professionals, students, organizations, and individuals.

Throughout my career, I've observed a common challenge among patients, students, and healthcare practitioners: knowing what to eat is only part of the equation. People need skills, confidence, and practical strategies to turn nutrition recommendations into meals they can actually prepare and enjoy.

This is the primary goal of culinary medicine: to bridge the gap between nutrition science and the kitchen by combining evidence-based nutrition education with hands-on culinary skill-building.

Culinary education is essential to impactful, applicable nutrition education.

Working alongside professional chefs in foodservice has taught me that cooking confidence comes from doing. Today, I bring that same practical, food-focused approach to everything I do, whether I'm designing curricula, teaching future healthcare professionals, consulting with organizations, or developing recipes and educational resources.

Nutrition doesn't happen on paper. It happens in the kitchen.
